How to Watch Caitlin Clark and the Fever vs. Toronto Tempo After the FIBA Break
The Indiana Fever are back in action. Caitlin Clark and her teammates resume the WNBA season on Friday, Sept. 18, with a road game against the Toronto Tempo after a three-week league pause tied to the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Berlin.
Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT at Coca-Cola Coliseum. Fans in the U.S. can watch on ION or stream the game on Prime Video, according to Hawk Central. WNBA League Pass is also listed as a streaming option.
The break came from the league calendar, not the Fever. The WNBA stopped play between Aug. 31 and Sept. 16 while the World Cup was held in Germany. Indiana last played Aug. 28, a 111-91 win against the Connecticut Sun that left the Fever at 26-14.
Clark entered that break and returned from it with different responsibilities. She made her first appearance at the senior World Cup with Team USA, which won its fifth straight gold medal by beating France 97-79 on Sept. 13. Across six tournament games, she averaged 7.8 points, 5.3 assists and 2.2 rebounds.
Her WNBA production has been stronger. Through 36 games this season, Clark is averaging 22.5 points, 8.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds, with shooting splits of 45.6 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from three-point range.
Friday's game is the third meeting all-time between Indiana and Toronto. The Tempo, coached by Sandy Brondello, are 11-29 and lost both prior matchups with the Fever. Toronto will also be shorthanded. 2026 All-Star Marina Mabrey has been ruled out for the team's final four games. In 32 games this season, the eight-year veteran averaged 20.8 points, 3.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds.
The Fever's schedule tightens from here. After Toronto, Indiana faces Washington on Saturday, then Minnesota twice in a row. That cluster of games will test how quickly Clark and her teammates can transition from international duty back to the WNBA grind.
